Malta residency and visa residency permit, through secure-government backed investment, was launched in 2015 and allows you and your family to reside, settle, work or study indefinitely in Malta. With your EU residence card, you can freely travel to any 26 Schengen countries without the worry of obtaining a visa and have rights to reside indefinitely in Malta. Furthermore, you and your dependents are allowed to stay in any Schengen country up to 6 months in a year. This is the only European Permanent Residency in Europe which sets no age limit for the applicant or dependent children, no Residency Permit withdrawal from dependent children at any age, irrelevant of their status and a Five years’ permanent residence, renewable indefinitely. Another benefit of this programme is that along with the main applicant’s parents and grandparents, you can also include spouse’s parents. The Malta residency program can lead to a long term European residency permit which will allow you and your family to be able to settle in any European country. Your children will receive free education or discounted rates at schools and universities across the EU. This programme follows on from the success of the Malta Citizenship by Investment program and was introduced by the Maltase Parliamentary Secretary for Competitiveness and Economic Growth. There is no World-wide taxation 0% on foreign capital gains. Foreign income that is not brought to Malta are not taxed in Malta.
